  • Why beeswax candles?

Beeswax Candles Beeswax Candles Beeswax is the only completely harmless and environment friendly product for the purpose of candle production. The petroleum-derived waxes like paraffin and stearin emit harmful substances in the air, which undermines burning of such candles indoors. The "eco" soy and palm wax candles require agricultural area for their growing. Most of the wax comes from warm countries where similar agricultural area is provided by continuous jungle felling. Moreover, production of these candles require labor, mechanization, and fuel combustion respectively, which undermines the claim that these candles are "eco". Beeswax is a product of symbiosis between the beekeeper and the bees. Bees are extremely useful for pollination of wild flowering plants and agricultures; bees endow us with extremely valuable bee products, including beeswax. Producing beeswax is not at the expense of destroying anything, there are no tradeoffs for its production.
